Stop Motion Fun (VIC)

This innovation initially came to life when…

There was a gap in the event industry for a new digital and innovative product. This was certainly the answer and has received fantastic feedback!

Discovered when using a flip book at an event, we have developed a digital, adaptable version, to allow clients to customise and create branding opportunities and fun at an event.

WHAT & HOW

The purpose of this innovation is to…

Take thousands of photos, turn them into a short movie, which looks like a digital flip book for events. That is then posted on YouTube, Facebook, etc. to create a viral marketing campaign or just to laugh at with friends.

It does this by…

Using old school stop motion, we take 10 photos a second, and turn it into a three-minute movie for clients to view. Each photo can also individually be saved.

It creates a customised and easy approach for innovative and creative technology for events.

Its various benefits to the customer/end-user include…

COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

As we all get old, cataracts is an issue most of us will see. Applying the correct prescribed drop dosage is important for the healing process. After interviewing some patients at the hospital and observing my grandparents, I found that there were numerous hurdles to applying a compliant dosage of eye drop with the conventional packaging. I then set out to design ENEdropp.

  • Get Me Online (SMART 100)

Searchwords’ Get Me Online innovation came to life when the founders saw the struggle for small businesses to move online. Websites are the cornerstone of the Internet but before Searchwords website development posed a time-consuming and costly problem for SMEs. Searchwords’ founders were itching to remove the costly frustration and solve the problem, giving every business a chance to participate online and get their business online quickly, cheaply and without requiring any technical knowledge.

  • Barkles (SMART 100)

Diesel Laws noticed the YouTube community sharing opinions below videos that didn’t necessarily relate to the video itself. This prompted research into whether or not the video itself was actually needed to encourage opinions. The problem however, was that there was no platform at the time for honest opinions and discussions to be accepted and encouraged. After a few variations of the Barkles platform, Diesel teamed up with Jay Whiting to build the “side-by-side debating service” that exists today.

Anthony Sork, an employee engagement expert, detected a gaping hole in the market for a product that could help businesses save hundreds of thousands of dollars in staff turnover costs. Having spent a great deal of his career having conversations with HR/Recruiters/Hiring Managers, Anthony recognised that no one was paying any attention to the bonds new employees were forming with an organisation, and how this honeymoon period of three months would set the resting point for how much effort the employee was likely to put in after they passed probation.
