Chicken restaurant chain Nando’s Australia is hoping to cash in on the Bingle-Clarke-breakup-saga zeitgeist with this latest promo declaring all Nando’s outlets ‘Bingle-free zones’.
The promo was announced via this press release and a spoof community service announcement radio spot (YouTube version embedded below), which Nando’s and the Melbourne-based creative agency behind the promo, The Sphere Agency, are no doubt hoping will go viral.
A nimble effort, though its effectiveness in selling chicken remains to be seen.
