A startup in the U.S. is doing just this – bringing thermal imagining to the smart phone.
For a neat US$199, you can get a small attachment for your iOS or Android device and see what your eyes cannot.
Normally, we think of thermal vision as something used for special ops or crime scene investigations. (OK, so now you know how I spend my late nights working and watching bad crime on television.)
But, there are many applications and Seek Thermal also has a developer community so expect to see some neat applications that use this technology.
