Known for: ZRA Designs
Zoe creates branding for other small businesses and entrepreneurs as well as artwork and prints for her customers. “I have created a new product which I have seen nowhere else, the product is laser cut artwork, which is created beautifully from wood and new age technology,” she told Anthill.
At the age of 18 she started running her business, ZRA Designs in 2015 and three years later it’s still going strong, having completed 26 collaborations with different businesses people, including singer/songwriters, bloggers, fashion designers, artists and high profile brands, both locally, in Australia and overseas.
Zoe has also had her work featured in galleries. She was even invited by a well known Victorian University to exhibit work in a gallery to raise awareness about domestic violence against women. Some of her notable collaborations and features include: Australia Post, Thankyou Australia, The Sheraton Hotel, Kulani Kinis Swimwear (USA) and Linden New Art (St Kilda).
“My biggest setback was when I was not being paid or recognised for my work. My designs have been blatantly copied multiple times and this is a struggle and challenge that all designers face. My biggest selling achievement was selling my original laser cut artwork at the Apollo Bay Art Show in the summer of 2016/2017,” Zoe further revealed.
Anthill asks: What is your super‑power and why?
Although I run a successful business, I don’t let it get to my head. I am extremely grounded and always have time for family and friends. I often get asked how do you do it all? Doing it all is my super‑power.
