This innovation came to life when…

I was fed up of losing receipts (tax deductible), my utilities bills, paperwork and all other mail was everywhere and anywhere. Whenever I needed to give something to my accountant or reference what I had paid or whoever would ask for it, I would never have it handy or lose it amongst all the other clutter in my poor filing system. I also wanted the opportunity and comfort of someone advising me if I had the best deal on insurance, bank products and loans. It would be nice to have these items reviewed.

2. WHAT & HOW

The purpose of this innovation is to…

Clutterfi allows you to securely store, share, compare and save on all utilities, bills and services. Users can share their online folders with their accountants come tax time and never lose or have a faded receipt again!

It does this by…

Users will be able to scan, photo-upload or email their receipts, utilities, loans and any other related items that they file away in folders online in a creative digital storage system. From here they can choose which folders they would like to share with their accountant and also allow them the service of having items reviewed/compared for savings.

3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

Individuals will be able to store all financial and personal related items in one convenient location with itemised folders and subcategories. The main benefit is that it will save individuals time, save them money, save space and allow them to get organised! Main benefit is that we are saving the everyday Australian $ all while having the best service.

The benefits to the customer/end-user include…

The customer will be able to share their tax-related items and folders with their accountant, will not have to worry about losing another receipt or deductible expense again! Australians had lost out on $7.1 billion in claimable expenses.

4. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

This product is new in the sense that it brings together a digital storage mailbox, a comparison and review service and a simple sharing category to allow other users viewing access — from accountants to mortgage brokers or financial planners. Anyone really that needs access to these sorts of items.

Its predecessors/competitors include…

Competition in the market would be digital mailbox and Australia Post, although they are not offering our full service but a focus on the storage facility. Comparison sites would be another competitor but will not run the same way.

5. TARGET MARKET

This innovation is made for…

Our target market for this product/service is any individual, couple, family and small business owner that completes tax returns, files away bills, receipts and/or their statements and has any services, insurance or loans that they would be able to compare to ensure it meets their needs and are paying the best price. Clutterfi will also offer new services to clients that are interested in any new products.

6. DISTRIBUTION STRATEGY

Our distribution channels will be financial services professionals, real estate agents and online offering.

Our marketing strategy is to…

We will approach and establish strategic alliances with accountants, financial planners, real estate agents and anyone in this type of service role that needs access to these documents to provide their services.

Our main focus will also be on social media and any sites where individuals flock to, to compare certain items such as insurances, loans and other services.
