What is the 30under30?

30under30 is an Anthill initiative launched in early 2008 to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among young Australians.

Each year, we invite our readers to nominate young Australian entrepreneurs deserving of recognition for their outstanding entrepreneurial endeavours. More.

Arna Jade, WA (b. 1984)

Name: Arna Jade
Age: 29  (born November 1984)
Gender: Female
State: WA
Known for:  IMARI Consulting

IMARI Consulting understands that a good idea is one thing, but a great perception is another.

Arna Jade started IMARI Consulting in 2013, out of her own money, but it wasn’t her first company.

Arna recently told Anthill, “I started my first company when I was 22. I thought I was perfectly geared to make it successful given my working history. I was so wrong!”

“I made so many mistakes, however I learned from them. I discovered that so many small businesses lack internal structure that gears for growth and highlights inefficiency. That is why I started IMARI and that is why I am so passionate about creating new systems that make that part of business easy.”

IMARI Consulting’s services menu runs the full panoply of modern, startup-focused services, including business and marketing plans, HR consulting, business coaching, strategic planning, team development, and R&D.

But Arna’s crowning achievement, she told us, has been the ongoing development of her online document repository.

“I’ve been developing this for the past seven years, building a formidable pool of over 7,000 documents to date that have been legally reviewed, formatted for ease-of-use and compiled into categories. The system is aimed towards SMEs to reduce inefficiencies, build structure and assist growth. MVP test is soon to be launched,” she said.

Arna is said she is driven to help business owners, startups and SMEs. She’s particularly keen on helping them avoid mistakes.

“Having been one myself and seeing the limited support especially in WA, I aim to change all of that. I was fortunate enough to learn from my mistakes without having thrown my life savings at an idea, but I have seen people lose everything,” Arrna added.

“I am a very empathic person, I feel for others deeply, so being able to reduce the pain and suffering of others through minimising the financial burden of setting up a company and it ultimately failing is my main aim. Plus I am constantly meeting new people, which I love.”

Her entrepreneurial successes and dedication to helping others get started in business have earned  Arna Jade a place amongst Anthill’s 2014 30under30 winners.

Anthill asks: Arna Jade, what’s your super power?

I have the ability to help people realise their true potential and reveal hidden skills and talents. I look past the things people are afraid of, and show them how to harness their strengths to annihilate all their perceived weaknesses, or at least work around them!
