More than one in three SMEs are missing out on the benefits of being online [INFOGRAPHIC]

The latest MYOB Business Monitor has revealed that at least one third of SMEs are reducing their performance potential by overlooking the significant opportunities that come with having an online presence.

This latest survey of 1,022 Australian SME owners and managers by research firm Colmar Brunton, found that more than six in ten don’t have a business website – same as six months ago.

Furthermore, tech-savvy businesses have unsurprisingly been found to enjoy more benefits than their less tech-savvy counterparts, and also to be less affected by the common SME pain points such as fuel prices and cashflow.

Below is an infographic showing more findings of the survey.
