What is 30under30?
30under30 is an Anthill initiative launched in early 2008 to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among young Australians. This year saw a surplus of highly qualified entrants, so we thought we would highlight some of the bright and innovative nominees who just missed the Top 30 by a wink. Michael Morgano strives to make online classifieds more affordable, more accessible, and even more quirky.
Car owners who are selling their vehicles can turn to Car Genie for a simplified listing plan that requires only $5 for six months.
Additionally, Morgano developed Shrapz, a classified site for odd jobs and useful services people are willing to offer for $5 or $10, from walking dogs to speed-eating hamburgers.
“I am constantly looking for new avenues to explore and always on the lookout for new businesses that could be created,” he says, “especially those in niche markets.”
While acknowledging that the car classifieds industry is a tough one to crack, he isn’t giving way just yet. Winning a V8 Supercar sponsorship was a good omen for Car Genie, and more visibility is sure to get consumers turning more wishes into reality.

My super power is my incredible amount of persistence. Over the years although sometimes things seemed bleak, I never gave up.
