OK, so this is an ad for Adobe Marketing Systems. It’s one of many marketing systems (think Salesforce or, locally, Intelligence Bank) that are designed to help marketers make informed decisions based on real data.
But, the point the ad is making is far too real.
If this is what your digital marketing plan sounds like, then you’re in trouble. If this is the kind of thing you hear yourself saying when asked how you’re going to get your business market share, then, you guessed it – you’re in trouble.
If I had a dollar for every time I hear these kinds of digital marketing buzzwords stated as if they were actual strategies, I wouldn’t have to work. Ever. (Note to self: Start asking people for $1 every time they say a digital buzzword.)
I’d also like a BS detector like the one used in this ad. That would come in very handy.
