This innovation initially came to life when…

I, Lasanka Perera have 10 years experience in foreign exchange. My partner Ram Gorlamandala has been in corporate finance for 10yrs and raised AU$1bn. Given Australia is an island continent, 75% of companies raise capital and deploy it offshore for products and services. In 2013, we formed the first organisation helping companies to raise growth capital and expand into the subcontinent and globally. 1.5 years on we’ve serviced 300 corporate clients who we raise funds for and help get better fx rates and move funds internationally cheaper than banks. We are also the only group helping mid-sized companies to expand into the Indian subcontinent.

…Australia is an island continent where most products and services and exported and imported. 75% of companies raise capital and deploy it offshore. We not only help them find that capital but give them better fx rates than banks.


It does this by…

…we aggregate wholesale bank fx rates and pass these onto mid-sized companies who are importing or exporting allowing them to convert currencies cheaper than bank rates. When companies look for capital they come to us for this support. We then show these growth companies to the deep networks of investors who are looking for growth opportunities.

…we help companies who are importing/exporting to save money on converting currencies through banks. We help find smart capital to propel them into higher levels growth domestically and offshore. We subcontinental background allows us to help our clients do business in a region where IMF forecasts 8-12% growth for decades. We are the first offering such an integrated solution.

…corporate advisory – BBY/Shaws/Greshams don’t offer an integrated corporate finance/fx advisory solution. Subcontinent advisory- UBS/JPMorgan/DB but they only support large organisations. No advisory groups supporting small-mid companies enter Indian subcontinent. FX – Ozforex/westernunion etc don’t do corporate advisory. We do.
