I was struggling to purchase a motor vehicle…I was a single parent working two jobs and needed a car. I didn’t have the time to drive from yard to yard or do all the work required on another buying site. Taking notes, making calls and waiting by the phone/computer. It is a refined buying site not the same as others as there are no uploaded images just a form that you complete with a wish list that connects you and the dealer instantly. The dealer does all the searching and contacts you with a match buyer.

2. WHAT & HOW

The purpose of this innovation is to…

We connect buyers and dealers instantly with a wish list. The buyer completes their desired price point, make/model & other features. This goes directly to the inbox of the dealer who does all the searching for you.

It does this by…

Combining feeds from global best practise antivirus security vendors, with locally tuned rules established in a Changing the art of selling where the customer knows what they have to spend and what they want. This request goes to the dealer who searches for you. No uploaded images and is a win-win for both parties. Customer has no running around or downtime filtering other sites and dealer has no images to take and upload-it’s refined and simple.

3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

The customer doesn’t have to waste time driving from yard to yard, speaking to every dealer or searching through other sites still having to do all the work taking notes about price, kilometres, features and filtering hundreds and thousands of images. Then having to make calls to narrow down their options. Also we only have licensed dealers no private sellers.

Its various benefits to the customer/end-user include…

Takes all the work including time and money out of the process of buying a car. Also, only speaking with licensed dealers whom are trusted is a big plus.

4. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

Taking thousands of images and uploading them to a portal on the site. The customer would then have to search the other sites looking at pictures of vehicles, filtering location, make, model, kilometres, transmission. Still having to narrow down thousands of vehicles then making all the calls to both private (unknown) and dealers to narrow down their options-lots of time.

Its predecessors/competitors include…

Carsales, carsguide where all the work is done by the customer. Also a common complaint that customers contact the seller after spending hours narrowing down options to be told the car is sold but not taken off the site.

5. TARGET MARKET

It is made for…

So far my customers are 99.9% are female. They feel safe using the site to make initial contact and also like the idea of putting in a price point so that uncomfortable conversation about money is out of the way. They feel the stress of talking to salesman after salesman in a male dominated environment is diminished by using the site.

We have been extremely successful on social media and have had exposure with journalists covering our story on national & local print media including internet/digital based publications. In the future their will be print based advertising and social media advertising.
