What is the 30under30?

30under30 is an Anthill initiative launched in early 2008 to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among young Australians.

Each year, we invite our readers to nominate young Australian entrepreneurs deserving of recognition for their outstanding entrepreneurial endeavours. More.

Emily Gowor QLD (b. 1987)

Name: Emily Gowor
Age: 26 (Born: December 1987)
Gender: Female
State: QLD
Known for: Gowor International Publishing (GIP)

Emily Gowor’s love of writing – and books — led her to start Gowor International Publishing (also known as “GIP”) in 2013.

GIP provides author training (offline and online) to aspiring writers around the world. The company also offers publishing services that blend the traditional and self-publishing worlds together. Driven by inspiration of human potential, GIP produces exceptional quality books and empowers, uplifts and inspires authors to go far and take their books with them.

Through GIP, Gowors has championed a huge philanthropic project enrolling 365 people from 15 countries with the Inspiration Bible, which will publish its first issue in two- months’ time.

When Anthill asked about her motivation for starting GIP, Emily had this to say:

“My activities are driven by a desire to inspire people. It is all in the people; from my author training to publishing to philanthropic projects to social movement. People are the reason that business exists, and it’s about bringing as much of my authenticity and ‘love’ – in the most powerful sense – into my every service to the world.”

“I have a magnificent calling within me and that is to light up the calling in other people. I see too many people on a daily basis who are dying or crying inside and to me, that’s not enough. We are made for so much more.”

Emily’s proudest accomplishment has everything to do with her philanthropic aspirations.

“The Inspiration Bible has been huge this year as I initiated a huge global movement that has already touched hundreds and hundreds of people around the world. We added contributor profiles to the site which generated over 2000 shares, and personalized Facebook banners,” she added.

“This project has harnessed the heart within people and literally gone viral. 365 people are waiting to spread ONE book all over the world – literally – and it has truly demonstrated what people-power is about; not to mention entrepreneurial spirit. I am humbled, touched, moved and inspired by the future and what is possible.”

And that makes Emily a true Anthillian — and one of our 30under30 winners.

Anthill asks: Emily Gowor, what’s your super power?

Inspiring people and helping them to bring their most authentic message out into the world verbally, in life and on paper.
