What is the 30under30?
30under30 is an Anthill initiative launched in early 2008 to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among young Australians.
Each year, we invite our readers to nominate young Australian entrepreneurs deserving of recognition for their outstanding entrepreneurial endeavours. More.
Abbey Cameron
Name: Abbey Cameron
Age: 28
Gender: Female
State: QLD
Known for: Caveman Kitchen
With the mantra of ‘Love Life, Aim High & Live Big’, Abbey Cameron nourished her entrepreneurial spirit in creating the Caveman Kitchen, a fresh and healthy meal delivery service. Having left a PR and Marketing career behind, Abbey made her vision a reality, launching in the incredibly quick time of six weeks.
The creation of Caveman Kitchen was born from Abbey’s desire to reclaim the health of consumers. Despite this being her first entrepreneurial venture, the business has grown into something not only influential but impressive in what is now a booming industry.
The clean and delicious recipes of Caveman Kitchen are not just about food but a drive to educate and make change. Abbey’s entrepreneurial spirit in launching a business within an unfamiliar market is a shining example of her self-motivation.
“We are selling purpose, motivation and life. How can anyone say no that?,” Abbey recently told Anthill.
And she is certainly right. In building relationships with bloggers and influencers, the Caveman Kitchen reaches the food, health and fitness audiences with great content and, in doing so, garners trust. If that’s not enough, Abbey claims it was Lady Luck that led to her connections with the NRL Brisbane Broncos, having an ambassador within the team.
With customer relations like this continuing to blossom, Abbey and the Caveman Kitchen are set to flourish within the food industry, leading the way for the health movement to kill processed foods with kindness.
Now, Anthill is pleased to announce Abbey Cameron, 2015 30under30 winner.
Anthill asks: Abbey Cameron, what’s your super power?
“Perseverance. The days when you’re absolutely killing it at life, and your staff nail something tricky, and a customer tells you you’ve changed their life, and you actually get to pay yourself a wage – they’re the ones that keep you going.”
