This cool company initially came to life when Sylvain Mansotte, the whistleblower on a $20m+ fraud, decided that their must be a better way to report misconduct. By way of a SaaS platform, whispli allows people to report their concerns to organisations, enabling a two-way communication securely and anonymously, so that they can act before it is too late.

“I noticed that very few people were using traditional reporting mechanisms (hotline, fax, email, PO Box, etc.) because of fear. So, in 2015, I built Whispli which combines a secure communication platform with a smart and configurable end-to-end Case Management Solution,” Sylvain told Anthill.

Now being used by hundreds of companies and pushed by partners globally, such as the Big-4 accounting firms, Whispli enables employees and business stakeholders to anonymously inform their employers anout potential (or actual) risks and breaches of good, ethical business practices.

Whispli started as a secure, anonymous two-way communication platform to solve fraud and corruption in corporate environments. Now, Whispli is developing new innovative ways for individuals to report misconduct whether you are literate or not, a child or an adult. It is being used in educational contexts to let students speak-up about bullying, harassment, drug use, and also government agencies, public and private companies, journalists, NFPs, aged care providers, and the list goes on.

“We also enable some of our partners to access important data so that they can themselves build better services, like in the case of insurance organisations, which can adapt their products based on Whispli’s data,” Slyvain further explained
