Some time ago I wrote about the Japanese Arm Pillow, a sleeping accessory for lonely hearts. It was creepy — no doubt about it — but the Japanese creators had developed and marketed it with a sufficiently large dose of whimsy as to make it an entertaining cultural artefact.
