Circus: The Festival of Commercial Creativity — a four-day exploration and exhibition of the latest in marketing — is scheduled for 22-25 February at CarriageWorks in Sydney.

The festival, organised by The Communications Council, will feature keynote speakers, a showcase of YouTube content presented by Google, and the APG Battle of Big Thinking, in which representatives from government and the advertising and marketing industries battle it out for the “biggest idea.”

Headline speakers include Jose Cabaco, global brand creative director for Nike Sportswear; Rob Campbell, regional head of creative strategy for W+K; Marvin Chow, Google’s marketing director for Asia Pacific and Japan; Jess Greenwoood, director of Contagious Insider; and Charles Quigley, chairman of BBH Asia.

There also will be ceremonies for SHOTS Director of the Year and the AWARD Awards for marketing creativity.

As a curtain-raiser for Circus, The Communications Council will host an exhibition of commercial photography from 4 February through 12 March at the Australian Centre for Photography in Sydney.
