30under30 is an Anthill initiative launched in early 2008 to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among young Australians.

They call him “that guy from the theatre.” His company, GlowBored, has provided PR services for various large national touring theatre shows, including “Legally Blonde” and “Annie.” This year, he’s heading on tour with the Miranda Sings Australian Tour, as the outfit’s national publicist.
All that, and he’s just 17 years of age.
But Jeremy Hansen’s list of accomplishments doesn’t stop there. He’s also started a crowd-funded theatre (the first of its kind in the world) called YOUR Theatre Co, alongside GlowBored and Sam Klinger Entertainment Enterprises.
“When I first started in this business, I worked for free. Purely because I loved what I did!” says Hansen, sounding a lot like some of the most seasoned business people more than twice his age.
Hansen diffuses potentially “nuclear” PR situations, every day. His big secret? Keeping a level head and always being honest.
“Persuasion is a big part of my job. In PR it’s what we do. The key is to never lie! Always persuade people with the truth. Personality helps too — I am a very positive person that is always wearing a smile and I think that this help draw people to me.”
With ethos like those above, it seems Hansen already has firm grasp on the PR business. Since starting on his own two years ago, Hansen’s company now has two other employees and has provided PR services to more than 16 stage productions.
Hansen is quick to show gratitude where it’s due. He cites the team around him, and those who’ve believed in and supported him along the way, as his biggest assets.
Jeremy is bringing a youthful flare to an ever-changing industry, a new take on an old schtick that he identified the need for. Opportunity knocked, and he answered, and that, Anthillians, is what we’re all about.
