One look a beautiful, modular green wall from Junglefy and it is easy to see why Junglefy might have earnt its spot among this year’s X-factor finalists. Beautification of the urban jungle is a business model with broad appeal and a niche appreciably seized upon by this New South Wales company.
“We realised there was a need within commercial construction for someone offering solutions for ‘living architecture’ elements like green walls, green roofs and green facade,” Junglefy’s Hanna Gammon told Anthill.
She adds that this city-dwelling startup was started with horticulturalists. “We already had a strong skill and expertise in horticulture and proven track record for running a business.”
This led the company to develop its own, new technologies that not only improve the aesthetics of Australian cities, but purify their air, also.
As such, Junglefy is challenging traditional construction methods and materials by tightly integrating plants in building decisions, envisioning them as essential elements of architecture, rather than add-ons. And that, Anthillians, makes Junglefy a Cool Company.
