Leading tech and co-working hub, Tank Stream Labs has announced a new partnership with tech-focused education provider Academy Xi as it launches the first Blockchain training course next month in Sydney.

Brad Delamare from Tank Stream Labs said the partnership with Academy Xi was timely with the recent establishment of the first Blockchain hub at Tank Stream’s Bridge Street Hub.

“Our goal is to not only bring the Australian Blockchain community together but provide opportunities to learn and strengthen their capabilities to thrive in the Australian and international markets.

“We are committed to being a hub for the Australian Blockchain sector, but we also need to ensure that we can support educational programs for those entering or already engaged in the Blockchain market,” Brad Delamare added.

What is the state of Blockchain today?

Blockchain, which is increasingly being adopted across the globe, is changing the way we interact. Starting with Bitcoin, it is now entering the Fintech market and has the potential to disrupt every industry.

According to a report published by Markets and Markets, the global Blockchain market size is expected to grow from USD 411.5 million in 2017 to 7, 683.7 million by 2022, while growing at a compound annual rate of 79.6 percent.

Ben Wong, Co-founder and CEO of Academy Xi, said Blockchain technology is already transforming how humans, machines, corporations, and governments interact.

“Our courses are designed to provide practical and skills-specific knowledge for those wanting to up-skill or get into the sector. We also help companies work on their own Blockchain product with a focus on identifying a market problem and a solution.

This is an economic and business innovation that has the potential to disrupt every industry and therefore its vital that we provide practical courses that deliver real-life scenarios and solutions.”

What does this new partnership between Tank Stream Labs and Academy Xi mean?

This new partnership builds on an existing partnership between Tank Stream Labs and Academy Xi, with Tank Stream Labs member, Tech Ready Women partnering with Academy Xi to launch a $100,000 scholarship fund aimed at encouraging women to develop and launch a startup venture.

The partnership between Academy Xi and Tank Stream Labs will see discounted packages and scholarship opportunities for the Blockchain education program for Tank Stream Labs members.

“Our commitment is to ensure our network of more than 400 companies has access to the latest research and teaching to grow and strengthen their venture within the global marketplace. This new venture with Academy Xi gives our members the practical intelligence to be globally ambitious and most of all competitive,” Brad Delamare concluded.
