1. THE BEGINNING

This innovation initially came to life when…

What if your club/organisation could have access to a ongoing pool of fitness professionals that want to work in your area? No more reading resumes, posting job ads and screening through 100’s of resumes. You can see your trainer before you meet them. Scan their profile, watch a video and connect via TRB to the trainer for a fill in/short term or full time job requests. It’s kinda like ‘reverse recruitment’ without all the heavy loads of recruitment. We are the ‘tinder’ of fitness without the dates… just jobs.

The purpose of this innovation is to…

Purpose of TRB is to provide a bank of trainers to clubs so they can find trainers for their business without having to post job boards and read resumes. Quick and easy access to finding professionals in your area.

It does this by…

Providing the trainer and club access to a membership based service. Trainers create a profile of themselves online in which clubs can search for specific skill sets and type of work available to the trainers promoting themselves on TRB profiles. Search on the desktop or your mobile phone for the trainer you might need.

3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

TRB is not a job board nor do we collect resumes from trainers. We found that resumes don’t get read and the way professionals find jobs is all online platforms. The industry of fitness is fast moving and most trainers want to pick up extra work and make more money. Helps clubs avoid high costs and finding trainers fast.

Its various benefits to the customer/end-user include…

Trainers are able to register once for 12 months and they say yes or no to any request that come up. Work forever. Clubs get access for the 12 months and can find as many staff as they want.

4. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

Currently the process of placing job ads and reading resumes still exists. This is still going to exist some certain roles. TRB focuses just on trainers within the industry and because they are constantly updating their skills it’s easy for the trainer to edit their profile online. Clubs don’t need to write job ads for trainers anymore.

Its predecessors/competitors include…

Seek / Sports People / Healthy people who are job boards and recruitment agencies.

5. TARGET MARKET

It is made for…

We start in VIC (Launching in the week) and then we will be going into other states of Australia. We are targeting all types of fitness professionals and trainers as well as all type of clubs/gyms and organisations that require trainers. Any type of skill and service can register pertaining to the fitness industry. All ages and those who are already working that might want to pick up extra work or a new job to those who just want to pick up extra opportunities and fill in work. Same for clubs. Emergency fill in or casual and full time staff.

It is available for sale through…

Online. I will be talking with clubs but trainers can register online through a simple sign up process.

Our marketing strategy is to…

Being in the industry for a long time we have great connections so we will be using social media platform as well as databases of partners to reach out to the current and future fitness professionals. We have also been featured in a fitness business magazine and plan to expand through more media print materials.
