1. THE BEGINNING

This innovation initially came to life when…

I learnt that over 80% of road trauma was caused by driver error, and over the past 50 years every aspect of road safety has been improved except for the way we teach people how to drive. It is not only antiquated but unsafe for anyone to get in the passenger seat of a car with someone who has never driven before. We have developed a program to engage, educate and bring driver training into the 21st Century.

2. WHAT & HOW

The purpose of this innovation is to…

…bridge the gap between theory and practical driver training, in a safe & controlled environment for all future road users.

It does this by…

…combining simulation, gaming, Artificial Intelligence & Virtual Reality technology into schools for Gen Z’s to be able to learn all cabin / operational procedures online on their PC’s.

3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

There was NO simulation training available for Pre-Learners, this is a World first online driver training program with graduated pass/fail modules to develop in-cabin operational & cognitive skills. In development is also a Distraction Management Module to conclusively prove that drivers can NOT text and drive – this program will be available by July 2018.

Its various benefits to the customer/end-user include…

The Stage 1 program includes 3 pass/fail modules which cover steering, acceleration, braking, various intersections with AI & traffic, and emergency braking exercises. The exercises allow Learners to make mistakes online on ‘on road’.

4. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

No-one, but endured by very anxious parents that clawed the dashboards, ripped the panic bars off the passenger side ceiling, and wore holes in the foot well where they SO wanted a brake pedal!

5. TARGET MARKET

It is made for…

Predominately Pre-Learner drivers, in early – mid stages of learning to drive. The program also has other markets such as international licensing, re-licensing of the elderly, disability/rehabilitation, apprenticeship training, corporate training, reducing insurance premiums, etc.

It is available for sale through…

Schools, TAFE’s, RTO’s or online.

Our marketing strategy is to…

Get the program into as many schools/TAFE’s as possible, and create a PR maelstrom to pressure others to take up the program in the interest of all – Governments, Educators, Parents and Students.
