I’ve been watching a lot of great video lectures on entrepreneurship lately. Gorging myself, really. After all, this was a resource that was difficult to get your hands on until recently. And now so much of it is online, for free.
In this video, Randy Komisar, from successful Silicon Valley-based VC firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, discusses the attitude to risk and failure in Silicon Valley and the role this plays in sustaining a fertile ecosystem. It reminds me of similar sentiments expressed by Silicon Valley legend Dr Bill Miller in Anthill a couple of years back.
Lessons there for everyone.
