Jordan Grives has alleviated companies of the chore many employees can’t stand — answering the phone — and Fonebox’s abilities don’t end there. Jordan has created a company that handles all sides of inbound telecommunications, including reporting of inbound numbers.
Jordan says he noticed the market was discontent with existing providers. Products being created weren’t comprehensive, reporting data was being provided in an ineffective manner and customer service was at an all-time low.
Four things have set Fonebox apart, Jordan says, “in-house research and development, as well as a client-centric focus on low rates, extraordinary service, and custom built solutions.”
Jordan says one of the major challenges the company has faced on its road to success has been a rapid growth rate.
Fonebox has maintained a 40 percent growth rate over several years, meaning at times, their business strategy turns reactive rather than proactive.
In the beginning, a challenge for Jordan himself was to succeed as a young businessman. He says when he first entered the world of entrepreneurship, he noticed many weren’t receptive to his age.
“Perseverance drove me to slice through this outdated perception by way of success, despite the status quo,” Jordan says.
Jordan’s perseverance, which he says is his greatest asset, led to a major financial success in the most recent fiscal year.
Jordan says their client-centric focus lead to an increase in revenue from 6.4 million to 9.6 million. Also, their team of employees almost doubled.
The Fonebox team is the life and soul of the company, Jordan says.
“Strategic recruitment is a key building block of Fonebox’s success and I believe the first step towards real problem solving,” Jordan says.
Not only does Jordan recruit based on skill, he says, but on a person’s ability to be innovative and creative, just as any entrepreneur should be.
