On Wednesday, Steve Jobs unveiled the new tablet, which is thinner, lighter, faster than its predecessor and will sell for the same prices. It has (for extra cost) HDMI output capability and a flip-floppy, segmented cover.
Ah, iPad 1.0 — we hardy knew ye.
We feel it fitting, then, to present a memorial to the original iPad, which after only 11 months of existence is marching to the graveyard already populated by the original iPod, the music CD, and any Droid phone more than 120 days old.
