Businesses operating in the creative field will be able to discuss their challenges in a free one-hour session with senior consultants in a new service beginning this month.

The CIIC Biztro, an initiative of the Creative Industries Innovation Centre (CIIC), will be available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and is coming soon to Perth.

Five consultations will be held in each city on the last Friday of each month. The first session will be held on 28 January.

CIIC is part of the Australian government’s Enterprise Connect program and is hosted by the University of Technology, Sydney.

Sign up for a Biztro session by joining the CIIC web community and completing a registration form.

CIIC director Lisa Colley says the service was launched to support the growth of the nation’s creative industries.

“The Creative Industries Innovation Centre’s Biztro consultation is all-you-can-digest business advice in 60 minutes,” Colley says. “It gives smaller companies and solo practitioners in the creative industries the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge and experience of a CIIC adviser.
