I edit books by entrepreneurs and I kept seeing the same issues coming up over and over again — their books were repetitive, had thousands of words of tangential content, and had holes and gaps that needed to be filled. They just assumed that their editors would fix everything, and this led to hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars spent on rewrites. In some cases, they gave up entirely. I wanted to create a formula that anyone could follow to write an awesome book.
