Forget about planning for the future. You need to concentrate on the now.
Now is when you can really make a difference. Ignore the future predictions, the gazing into the unknown. Focus on the now.
This is the message from Joi Ito from MIT Media Lab in his TED talk from March this year.
He starts by explaining what he did during the 2011 earthquake and resulting nuclear incident in Japan. It was the internet that enabled what he created. But, he goes on to explain that right now, at this very moment is when you can make a difference.
This is the stuff that drives innovation and creates entrepreneurs. It’s 12 minutes that includes a real life story and a personal philosophy that will speak to the heart of everyone who wants to make a difference, to innovate.
