The Sentis Innovation Team recognised the pressing need for a practical industry tool for safety reporting and management. Our clients found paper-based safety reporting inconsistent and subject to too many variables. How to assist leaders in safety-critical worksites ensure consistent, timely and actionable reporting? The Safety Observation Tool was created as the solution to this challenge, realised in the form of an intuitive ‘web application’ harnessing our digital and design capabilities. Launched in 2013, the customisable web app forms part of our holistic approach to safety, leadership and well-being solutions in partnering with our clients.

The purpose of this innovation is to…

The benefits to the customer/end-user include…

  • Streamlined and consistent safety reporting

  • Quantifies data for trend analysis

  • Operable on- and offline
  • Offers co-branding and customisation options for clients
