1. THE BEGINNING

This innovation initially came to life when…

a team of staffing professionals at national event placement company Event Workforce developed Rosterfy for internal purposes. It wasn’t long until we realised the potential Rosterfy has to enhance the events industry for good. Rosterfy was born out of the frustration of using complex spreadsheets and hours on the phone, and now we continue to stay ahead of the curve in online rostering, training and accreditation software.

2. WHAT & HOW

The purpose of this innovation is to…

save staff and volunteer manager time and money spent filling rosters, managing training and accreditation. To put it simply, Rosterfy enhances the overall staffing experience for not only valued staff and volunteers but for event professionals.

It does this by…

Allowing staff and volunteer managers the ability to roster, train and manage accreditation for their events all on Rosterfy. Through Rosterfy clients can: 1. Customise the system to their event 2. Register Workforce 3. Communicate to Workforce 4. Engage Workforce 5. Deliver Workforce 6. Celebrate their Workforce

3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

after years of experience managing and training staff, Rosterfy has been developed to be a one stop shop for rostering and managing our clients staff and volunteer database.

Its various benefits to the customer/end-user include…

custom registration form, rostering and group management, enhanced communication, user portals, offline check in and timesheets, training portal, OH&S, training tracker, custom pass creator, accreditation management, secure multi-level access approval and reporting are just some of the benefits to clients.

4. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

using old school methods including complex spreadsheets which has a number of pitfalls: – Database isn’t maintained in a central location – Communcication with staff is inconsistent and un-tracable – No culture exists and volunteers have no reason to be loyal to an event – Marketing/Recruiting efforts not tracable – Hard to recruit enough volunteers to successfully hold their event

Its predecessors/competitors include…

Atos, Volunteer Matters, Volunteer Squared, Volunteer Impact. Our competitive advantage is: – We offer an end to end solution – both software and a Workforce – Bennett, Shannan & Chris (Rosterfy Founders) personal credibility within the industry – International contacts

5. TARGET MARKET

It is made for…

event organisations and not-for-profit organisations who currently don’t have a system to manage large staffing and volunteer teams. They have regular events that require large staff numbers and a system they can use to stay on-top of all communications to staff and volunteers to keep them engaged, manage rosters and manage accreditation.

It is available for sale through…

direct contact/sale with our Rosterfy Directors Bennett & Shannan.

Our marketing strategy is to…

utilise our contacts made throughout the past ten years of working within the Events Industry as well as reaching out to interstate contacts and referrals. We also market Rosterfy at event, sports and volunteer events and conferences such as the 2015 Sports Tech Pitching Competition and the 2016 National Volunteering Conference in Canberra.
