School24 is shaking up the way schools order stuff, all across the country.

The idea of canteen online ordering started when the founder of School24 volunteered in his kid’s school canteen. He came to see that the time and work involved to process the kids’ lunches were unnecessarily long and tedious. What started as a day shift to help the canteen of a local school turned out to be an idea that made volunteers and parents life a lot easier.

“The best thing that happens is when a little girl or boy comes to the counter with a 10 cents coin, drop it on the counter and ask what can buy with this. It’s beautiful and we want to keep school canteens open and parents involved,” the company tells us.

The company works by helping schools shops that are run by volunteers to do more with less effort. This way, school canteens keep running and don’t close down. School24 recognizes that kids love to see their parents behind the counter. They also like to come and buy little things with their little money which gives kids that early experience of interaction and counting.

“We are a social responsible feel good company that is involved with school kids, parents and volunteers. Kids healthy eating, reducing wastage, saving parents’ time and helping volunteers are what we are here for and who we will grow with.”
