What is 30under30?
30under30 is an Anthill initiative launched in early 2008 to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among young Australians. This year saw a surplus of highly qualified entrants, so we thought we would highlight some of the bright and innovative nominees who just missed the Top 30 by a wink. Newcastle’s Leeanne Towse is teaching women of all backgrounds across the Hunter Valley to get vertical.
The dance instructor is the founder of mPole, a studio franchise sharing a name with its signature contraption (and former SMART 100 innovation), a sturdy yet mobile dance pole that’s easy to set up for performances.
Of course, mPole is also about much more than the technique. “Here we teach women to love their bodies while working towards a healthy, fit body in a fun, supportive and safe environment,” says Towse.
Currently with three mPole locations, Towse continues her push to open more studios in NSW to make her fitness brand more accessible to rural women, demonstrating her munificent spirit and unwavering devotion to the customer.

I am driven to be the best, to offer a product and service that is unlike anything else and to do something that I am passionate about for as long as I am passionate about it.
