What is the 30under30?

30under30 is an Anthill initiative launched in early 2008 to encourage and promote entrepreneurship among young Australians.

Each year, we invite our readers to nominate young Australian entrepreneurs deserving of recognition for their outstanding entrepreneurial endeavours. More.

Jordan D’Urbano (b. 1993)

Name: Jordan D’Urbano
Age: 21 (born September 1993)
Gender: Male
State: VIC
Known for: JD Coaching

Jordan D’Urbano founded JD Coaching as a result of seeing how many children lacked direction and purpose in their lives. After years of continuing to see young children suffer by following other people’s expectations and compromising what was important to them, Jordan decided to do something about it.

JD Coaching wants to see children live a life where they are the star. Through sports coaching programs, the organisation helps children develop self-worth, behavioural skills, resilience and unique personal values. The ultimate goal, Jordan told us recently, is to help Australia’s children stand for something and get the most out of their lives

“Our mission is to become the nation’s leading coaching influence for children by 2020,” Jordan recently told Anthill.

Jordan and his team are rapidly growing JD Coaching to encompass five programs in Melbourne’s Eastern and Northern suburbs within three months.

“My credibility comes from the fact that I have always had the courage to stay true to what my life’s purpose is. No matter what challenges, I have no choice but to become an inspirational leader that will change the world,” Jordan added.

“I love being an entrepreneur because for me it truly means to become the best possible version of yourself.”

And it’s working nicely for him.

Founded in 2012, within three months the company went from a one man show to three coaches and a book-keeper, and some 50-plus clients.

“We have tripled our revenue in this space of time, are holding 2 Victorian school seminars in August and have developed ten strategic partnerships,” concluded Jordan.

All that, and he’s just 21 years old. On that basis, and in light of his remarkable accomplishments in business, Anthill is pleased to announce Jordan D’Urbano, 2015 30under30 winner!
