What have I been doing wrong? Coiling cables.
Last week, I was coiling up my laptop cable after a meeting and an engineering type grimaced and said “You’re doing it wrong!”
I was confused. My cable looked neat and tidy but, when I unravelled it, it was always a bit tangled.
So, after all these years, it turns out I was doing it wrong. The result is additional wear on the cables and bad connections.
What did I do after this new-found knowledge? I searched YouTube to find a video so I could share the wealth.
And, of course, I found one!
Here is a video that shows two ways to correctly coil cables – any cable. Be it your laptop cable or phone charger cable. Once you know how, it’s really easy.
