How Google Glass is changing medicine [VIDEO]

I’ve spent a bit of time in hospitals in the past week.

The technology I’ve seen in use has been pretty interesting but, Google Glass is going one step further.

There are applications for Google Glass to be used to train the current, and next generation, of surgeons.

In the U.S., at Stanford Health, with help of app provider Droiders, this is already becoming a reality, as this video shows.

Try to get past the over intense ‘Hollywood’ style voice of the doctor in question, and the fact that you can’t see his mouth behind his scrubs mask. This video shows the potential for Google Glass, it’s far better than people using it to showcase their latest meal or hipster cycling adventure.
