At the TEDx event in Sydney, local business thought leader Iggy Pintado poses us this question: Does connecting make us better people?
Or, maybe more poignantly, should it make us better people?
We all invest a lot of time, effort and energy into connecting online, be it via Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn. Chances are you watched a YouTube video this week. And, you’ve probably done several Google searches today.
Pintado gives some inspirational examples of individuals who used social media, and connecting, to enrich their lives, and fulfil dreams.
So, with all this technology allowing us to connect, share and learn – is it making us better people? Is it making you a better person?
