In 2016 when founders Ben Wong and Charbel Zeaiter recognised a chronic digital skills gap and identified the need for an innovative solution that would remove the barriers between people and technology. With a vision to improve the world through education and empower individuals with digital skills of the future, Academy Xi was opened for business. Since its launch, Academy Xi has taught over 10,000 individuals in its workshops, part-time and full-time courses.

…EduTech startup, challenging traditional education models. Its on-demand and online Service Design course is now taught virtually and is the only one of its kind in Australia, enabling widespread access to training in a growing industry.

…through a modularised learning approach, the online curriculum engages students with multimedia material such as informational videos, activities, presentation slide material, navigational guides, templates, ad supplementary tools and reading lists. All material is curated and pre-recorded, so students can complete the course at their convenience.

The Online Service Design course varies from previous face-to-face learning options. Learning online allows students all over the world to engage in Service Design skilsl at their own convenience. Our online course allows more individuals, startups, and corporates to access digital training. It provides a new way of thinking about usability challenges and teaches Service Design as a new way of understanding the convergence of design, technology, and people.
