You could say the entire family is nuts — well, coconuts. Like most mothers, Casey Willetts wanted healthier kids. So, this resourceful mother of three went to a beach and picked up some coconuts.

Her husband sliced them. She flavored them. The children adored them. Once she gave some samples to a local organic farmer, her homemade chips began to fly off the shelves!

The family experimented with flavors. Orders kept flooding in. That prompted the family to create their e-commerce website.

It’s this little company’s devotion to filling every dietary niche, building native-Australian enterprises, promoting happy employees, and environmental work that makes Beach Harvest one-of-a-kind.

With all those coconuts just laying around Port Douglas, you’d think someone else would have sniffed out an opportunity. But, before Beach Harvest, 100-percent of the country’s coconut chips were imported from outside Australia.

This resourcefulness displayed by Casey and her family is worthy of some accolades. They dedicate themselves to keeping their supply plentiful and their environment clean. All their waste is  turned into compost for the coconut trees. Additionally, everything in Beach Harvest’s kitchen comes powered by the sun.

No waste. No filth. Just good, clean, tasty coconut chips.

No matter how picky the eater, Harvest Beach seems to have kept them in mind. These healthy chips are friendly to vegans, paleo-junkies, diabetics, and anyone afflicted with celiac.

You won’t find any preservatives in the bag either! It’s not just the customers who get a gift though! The company treats its employees like family.

While they work, the employees get to listen to Pandora streaming over a Bose sound system. It helps them whistle while they work. But they’re singing to more than just music, however. These coconut cracking machines get paid way above minimum wage. Best of all, every day, Casey makes them fresh hot lunch.

Harvest Beach Coconuts embodies what it means to be a family business! If you aren’t family, they’ll make you feel like it! Out of all the applications, none was quite like Beach Harvest Australian Coconuts.
