iVvy Cloud-based Event Management Software

This innovation initially came to life when…

I won the tender to handle an Event for 500 people with no experience other than a sheer will to deliver an awesome experience. After much frustration with the industry and service levels, supported by a programming background I set out to change the world. I wanted a system with no boundaries of language, currency, time or location. A platform that could give productivity back to organisations and reduce costs by improving processes. iVvy Events Management system was born, giving every event manger a set of tools that would change the way they handled Conferencing and Events forever.

WHAT & HOW

The purpose of this innovation is to…

…provide a set of tools which bring together multiple systems in one place. Accessibility from anywhere, therefore removing limitations to information and pricing where barriers exist due to affordability and infrastructure restraints.

It does this by…

…bringing together marketing , management and publishing tools, for events which include ability to manage budgets, Speakers, Exhibitors, Papers, Sponsors and Hotel accommodation whilst building your entire website on the fly. It provides for online transactions, giving 15 gateway payment options to choose from. No more transferring data between multiple computers as all your event management processes are seamlessly woven into one platform.

PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

…it is not reliant on any operating systems other than our own code. It requires no IT staff and infrastructure therefore reducing costs. It is accessible through any browser anywhere anytime and there removes any form of limitations to access information. It is in five languages and users can trade in any currency and time zone around the world.

Its various benefits to the customer/end-user include…

Reduction in direct costs of resources, time and administration processes. There is a major increase in productivity and profitability. There are multiple payment methods available and no high costs of entry as iVvy is a SaaS model.

COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

…the use of multiple applications and manual systems to plan and manage their events. People would use bulk mail tools for invitations, Excel for budgeting, Outlook for planning and SMS platforms for reminders. Previous systems were rigid and inflexible, which created logistical problems. Most users had to make do with manual processes to achieve the outcomes.

Its predecessors/competitors include…

CVent – USA , Events Pro (Installed Applications) and multiple online registration systems that are now in the market like Eventbrite (USA), Conferences online, and Oxford Abstracts, with each one delivering a different set of tools.

TARGET MARKET

It is made for…

…all event planners, meeting managers and Professional Conference organisers, whether they belong to an association, government-owned organisation or corporate. The size of the market in Australia is 15,000 meeting planners and 1,200 Professional Conference organisers. It is also available for use by Personal Assistants, of which there are estimated to be 180,000 within Australia.

DISTRIBUTION STRATEGY

It is available for sale through…

our web site, whereby you can sign up for a free trial which opens the application for use with ability to upgrade directly to package of choice. We have a reseller distribution network started and distribution partners with major associations.

Our marketing strategy is to…

…attend most major exhibitions within the meetings industry and build a distribution network of partners. We are building a strong brand with promotional activities in online marketing, social media and editorial partnerships with major magazines. Universities are adopting the technology to now teach the undergraduates and post graduate degrees in event management which provide a new client base for us.
