So I viewed the issue from the perspective of the clients and asked myself: What do I want from my business advisor? Clients want the same accountant each year, want to work with a boutique firm (so they know they have a name and a face, and not just a number. E.g. Ever called Telstra?!?), want proactive personalised advice, and want a fixed fee to provide certainty and peace of mind. From there Mawer Consulting was born.
