The first question is most interesting. What was different about 2004, when Facebook launched, that made the world ready for it? The first dot com boom had plenty of wanna-be startups that relied on community and customer interaction but, mostly, they crashed and burned.
But, then, suddenly – Facebook. And, I don’t need to tell anyone just how successful Facebook now is.
