Yes, Virgin have done it again.

It’s a neat ad staring Richard Branson.

You have to like a founder who’s willing to put himself out there in the marketing the way that Branson does. Hell, he even managed an cameo role in a James Bond movie. And, in reality, who wouldn’t do that if they had the chance?

This latest ad from Virgin US is what you expect. It’s funny, it’s got a compelling offer and, Branson gets to be the hero.

It’s short, simple and to the point but it follows a marketing formula that is very specific to the brand. This consistency pays off ten-fold. 

While not every brand has a Branson that can star centre stage, every brand can learn from the consistency, succinctness and humour that forms a part of every Virgin campaign.
