How do you promote a new deodorant? If you’re Nivea in Germany, you put people through a nerve wracking experience of being wanted by the police.
Of course, it’s all a set up. Photos are added to fake newspapers, bogus news broadcasts are made stating that the person of interest is dangerous and must not be approached.
You can see stress begin to take over the targets. Then, fake security guards appear and offer them deodorant. And, the victim, I mean suspect, laughs.
It’s a very elaborate set up. I’ll tell you one thing though, I’d love to see the legal disclaimer to the victims had to sign after the event in order to make these ads.
