When all interesting things reach a certain size or, a certain level of popularity, they teeter and fall into abyss of annoyance very suddenly.
YouTube has definitely fallen into that abyss of annoyance. This is not to be confused with the Trough of Disillusionment in the Gartner Hype Cycle.
If you follow the annoying tactics in this video, you will become YouTube famous. You might even make more than $7 a year in ad revenue. But, you’ll annoy a lot of people doing it. Which, in the scheme of things, is what matters.
This video is an excellent parody of what makes YouTube what it is today. Ironically, it is annoying and, has achieved stellar success since it’s launch in August. Ironic!
