Here is a test - you know that idea that was sitting at the back of your head until a few years ago you breathed life into it? Until you invested effort into it, and it became your now thriving business? Go now out into the street and tell 10 people about it ask them if they think it would work as a business idea? Much as Thor hates to say it, he is disappointed to find most people have the courage of a Pirhana. Unless there's a hundred of their mates doing the same thing, it could never work... Could it be most of the strangers in the street would have happily "disappeared" your business if you had listened to their feedback all those years ago? As lord Brian of Tracy once said "all you need to be successful, is within you". Or something like that... Aye,

I will say that it's a good idea to stop reading the newspaper as well as watching TV. Because as soon as there is good news such as lower unemployment or, you know, the announcement that Australia's not in a frigging (redacted), some tool will be on the front of the paper with a wonderful editorial about how we should ignore the good news because the world is still going to hell financially and there's nothing we can do about it.
