1. THE BEGINNING

This innovation initially came to life when…

A couple of dessert lovers came up with a concept to create unique restaurant-quality desserts in a casual dessert bar setting. Ash gave up studying medicine to pursue his passion for creating fresh and innovative desserts, using only quality ingredients. Fast forward to 18 months, and our love for innovative desserts has led to the opening of the second The Choc Pot dessert bar, as well as the launch of the take-home Cheeky Pot dessert range. Our concept shakes up the dessert bar industry, where customers no longer have to settle for mass-produced, rushed, and low-quality desserts.

2. WHAT & HOW

The purpose of this innovation is to…

give customers a dessert experience like no other, where they can be assured of having quality desserts every time, making cheat day worthwhile!

It does this by…

making sure that every dessert is hand-made onsite, using only quality products like Callebaut chocolate, BIllington’s sugar and Jersey milk. All side elements must also be hand-made, down to the marshmallows, honeycomb and The Choc Pot’s own Cranky Pants salted caramel!

We’ve also launched the new Cheeky Pot dessert range, allowing customers to enjoy freshly-made desserts in their own home.

3. PURPOSE & BENEFITS

This innovation improves on what came before because…

The Choc Pot is the only casual late-night dessert bar where every product is hand-made, restaurant quality and not mass-produced. If people are going to indulge in a decadent dessert, they should do so on a dessert that has been lovingly crafted for them.

the luxury to simply enjoy themselves with their friends over good quality desserts without the hassle of preparing and making them.

4. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

In the past, this problem was solved by…

spending precious time making their own desserts at home, while being limited only to ingredients available in the supermarket which cannot provide the same taste and quality that high-end restaurants can.

Or some people frequent dessert bars that could only offer mass-produced products without the restaurant-style quality.

Its predecessors/competitors include…

some chain and boutiques specializing in desserts. However, their products are completely mass-produced and therefore packed with preservatives.

anyone with a sweet tooth who loves to live a cheeky every now and then! More specifically, people who are social, who love spending time with their family and friends, appreciate the good things in life and lead a balanced lifestyle – they look after themselves while indulging every now and then!
