New online marketplace 2ndLease invites everyone to join the sharing economy by listing their own goods to be rented for an income, hence reducing e-waste.

Sydney fintech start-up Easyshare has launched its new digital platform, aiming to make the lives of Australia’s 4.1 million renters easier by eliminating their common disputes over money splits for rent and bills.

In this week’s interview, Leon and Garry talk to Shannon Cooper, entrepreneur and rental guru from the startup Rentoid. He shares what drives his passion and how his company, dubbed "the eBay of renting", enables users to rent out a wide range of products and services – everything from corporate jets to Rubik's Cubes.

While Rentoid contains the everyday items you'd expect to see listed (chainsaws, ladders, laptop computers, air conditioners, etc.) there are also some deliciously oddball items. You can rent an island, sports cars, private jets, a unicycle, a driveway, a full-size wrestling ring, an R2D2 projector, even a wife (listed in the "antique" category).
