Is this what the magazine of the future will look like… again?
Over the past two weeks, we have published the Sun Newspaper’s parody of the iPhone ads (and other mobile alternatives to print newspapers), Time Inc’s prediction of what magazines of the future might look like and a fake (or real) leak of Apple’s new Tablet Mac (aka MacTablet aka TabletMac aka iPad aka Apple Slate). But this concept piece put together by design collective BERG certainly has wow factor.
Google goggles (so much better than beer goggles)
Ever since Google started spruiking its mobile operating system Android in 2007 (alongside the formation of the Open Handset Alliance), speculation has raged that Google would one-day release its own stand-alone handset to compete directly with the iPhone. So far, that hasn’t happened.
Is this the new Apple Mac Tablet or a clever fake?
This clip, currently doing the viral circuit, is supposedly of a new Apple Tablet (aka MacTablet aka TabletMac aka iPad aka Apple Slate, etc.).
However, the clickerati have not yet decided whether to hail it as an exciting leak or a very clever fake. Either way, we hope something like it will be coming to a Mac store sometime soon. It’s Awe-some! (And makes Amazon’s Kindle look like a poorly crafted children’s toy.)
Check out Stanford’s avant-garde iPhone Orchestra

Tabloid newspaper parodies iPhone ads
Britain’s The Sun newspaper decided to showcase some of its core product’s hottest features in a way that impressionable tech-savvy consumers might comprehend. Introducing… the newspaper — this holiday season’s must-have, feature-packed content interface for the person on the go.
When you tweet, do you combine personal with business?
If you are serious about building your business, you need to have a twitter account. Use it to build a following, engage in conversation, expand your reach, update your customers, make an offer or just simply float out an idle thought or two.
There is however one question which remains up in the air:
Do you mix personal and business under a single account?

Disconnect online to reconnect in life
With technology making it easier to connect with one another through social media, the general impression is that we are all coming closer together. However, as Nigel Malone heads off on his first holiday in four years, he considers whether perhaps the reverse is happening — that our increased social networking capabilities make it harder to leave work behind.
