Windows 7 – who gives a $#%&!?

This has to be one of the most anticipated yet underwhelming launches in Microsoft's history. Apparently, we were supposed to be so excited about the launch that we would host a party in honour of it! Come on, MS. Really. Generally speaking, I like your stuff. Now you can get Hulu in Australia (and Stephen Conroy ain’t gonna like it)

Hulu is a website that offers commercial-supported streaming video of TV shows and movies from NBC, Fox and many other networks and studios. It topped Fast Company's Top 100 Innovators list for 2009, beating both Google and GE. It is a rival to YouTube (offering full episodes, rather than 10 minute teasers), threatens Apple's strategy for renting and selling video content online (as a logical extension of iTunes) and in April signed a deal with Disney that sent shivers down the spines of television and studio executives the world over (those execs with spines, anyway).

Should we admire or slap Apple zealots?

It usually manifests as a long monologue that starts with: "Get a Mac - they are perfect" then trails off, without punctuation or breathing, into an extensive list of Mac failures and bugbears. When they catch themselves, they add, "But they are still brilliant. You should get one!"

For miracle sales, get a halo

It seems like every bus shelter you pass features a back-lit silhouette of a dancing girl or boy with wires coming out of their ears. You don't have to read the logo to know that it's another ad for iPod. But did you know that the ad is doing wonders for Apple PCs?
