Victorian Government allocates $600k for accelerator to boost Melbourne start-ups

Startupbootcamp received $600,000 for the first year (2016), with the potential of following up funding in the subsequent years. The funds will enable the opening of a hardware lab in Kydo, Melbourne’s IoT and Data Tech Startup Space and will provide the core funding for the launch of the accelerator program in 2017.

Forrester report on ecommerce buoys eBay sellers ahead of conference on Gold Coast

An upbeat Forrester report about ecommerce in the country is setting the background for the fifth annual Professional eBay & eCommerce Sellers Internet Conference, scheduled for 21-22 July on the Gold Coast. The American researcher, in a report released late last month, predicted the Australian ecommerce market would rise 37% to $36.8 billion by 2013.
