2009 was the year that graphic sketch videos — brief clips using slickly produced animations to explain new products or complicated concepts — came of age.
There was one to explain the origins of the Global Financial Crisis. Another on the History of the Internet. We were reminded of how Entrepreneurs Can Change the World. And creative agency BooneOakley took it to the next level. And then there was Google, using the illustrated video technique to simplify the web browser, Google Wave, Google Chrome OS, and Google Goggles.
It only seems appropriate that the year finished with a similarly styled graphical video recapping 2009′s BIG year in Social Media.
